Welcome to Research Autism

Research Autism is the only UK charity dedicated to research into autism treatments and therapies. We carry out our own high quality, independent research. We also publish information about research carried out by other organisations. We aim to improve the quality of life and outlook for people on the autism spectrum and those around them.

News release Monday 14 July 2014:

Heavy blankets do not help children with autism to sleep. Research findings from a randomised controlled trial on the effectiveness of weighted blankets led by Prof Paul Gringras of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
