Dr Juli Crocombe, Forensic PsychologistJuli is Clinical Director for Autism and Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist in Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry at St Andrew's, and has a wealth of experience in autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). She has over 15 years' experience of working with people with ASD who have complex mental health needs and/or offending behaviour. She serves on many external boards and committees, including the NICE Quality Standards Advisory Committee on Autism, and the Editorial Board of the National Autistic Society (NAS) Annual Professional Conference. She was recently elected as Chair of the Advisory Board to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Autism, having been a member of the group for over 10 years. Previously, she was influential in driving and shaping the National Strategy for Adults with Autism and the NICE Guidelines for Autism in Adults.

Juli's research interests include developing our understanding of how to reduce offending behaviour in people with ASD. She was the Lead Researcher for a study to establish the prevalence of ASD amongst women in Broadmoor Hospital, and is currently engaged in a project to investigate the prevalence of ASD in the prison population.

Juli is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of Research Autism. She will be speaking at the upcoming Autism and Learning Disabilities conference taking place in London on 1 July 2014, sponsored by St Andrew's
