Dore Programme and Autism Ranking: No evidence


Two people on wobble boards The Dore programme consists of a series of physical exercises which are designed to stimulate the brain so that it speeds up the processing of information.

The supporters of the method claim that this helps with learning, language, emotion and motor skills.

Please note that DDAT (UK) Limited, the sole provider of the Dore programme in the UK, is currently in administration.

The joint administrators are currently in discussions with potential purchasers of the business with the aim of securing a sale which provides continuity of treatment for customers.

Our Opinion

There is no research evidence to suggest that the Dore programme produces any benefits in autistic people.
