Alternative Medical Procedures and Autism

We define alternative medical procedures as any medical activities or processes which are used in an alternative or 'off-label' way to treat some of the problems faced by people on the autism spectrum.

For example, some people are using cell therapy, chelation and hyperbaric therapy to tackle a variety of metabolic problems which they think may be the cause of some of the symptoms of autism (such as impaired communication and social difficulties) and related issues (such as challenging behaviours)
