Carnosine and Autism

Carnosine is a naturally occurring dipeptide i.e. a molecule consisting of two amino acids, found in the human body.

Carnosine is important for many functions within the body including the proper function and development of the muscles, heart, liver, kidneys, brain, and many other organs.

Some people believe that supplements of carnosine can be taken to treat a variety of conditions including autism, dyslexia, ageing etc.
