- Acamprosate

Acamprosate is a drug sold under the brand name CampralŪ.
It is used, along with counselling and social support, to help people who have stopped drinking large amounts of alcohol and to help them avoid drinking alcohol again.
Some researchers believe it may have a role in helping to treat social skills deficits in some people with autism.
