Daily Living Skills and Autism

Description

Traffic lights Daily Living Skills (DLS) or Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) are the things we normally do everyday in order to look after ourselves.

DLS include self-care activities (such as feeding ourselves, bathing, dressing, grooming) as well as activities such as work, homemaking, and leisure.

Many people with autism spectrum disorders have difficulty with one or more DLS.
