As an autistic youngster, James Macaulay was an easy target for bullies .
From being locked in a school cupboard to being called cruel names, he was victimised by his classmates because of his ‘weird’ behaviour.
His concerned parents would lie awake in bed at night, worrying about his future and what might happen to him once they had gone.
But now, their fears have been allayed after James became one of a very small number of autistic adults to secure a job after school.
