Nonprofit agencies offer help in placing autistic young adults into job
For people with autism, unemployment rates are more than grim. Thirty-five percent of adults on the spectrum between 19 and 23 years old are out of work, and the numbers get worse from there.
Two-thirds have not found success in work or higher education six years out of high school. There is local, free help for both.
