Research Autism is the only UK charity exclusively dedicated to research into interventions in autism.
Get involved and help us to make a real difference to people with autism.
Tell your friends about our lifeline appeal which appeared on BBC1 on Sunday 22 April.
The programme is presented by One Show presenter and pop vocal coach Carrie Grant. As a mother of two children with autism, Carrie understands the constant challenges that families have to face in living with the condition.
For the past five years we have been sending free, regular email bulletins to registered users of our website, bringing you the latest news on autism and the latest research on treatments and other interventions for autism. However, in the light of the increasing scarcity of funding we have had to explore new ways of raising income to ensure the long term sustainability of our work.
We consulted a sample group of registered members, asking whether they would be prepared and able to support our work by paying an annual donation. Of those we interviewed 92% said that they would be willing and able to do so.
We are therefore launching a new Friends of Research Autism scheme on 1 May.
